Your Bridal Spray Tan Timeline: When to Book Before the Wedding

Your wedding tan should look effortless in person and breathtaking in photos — and that comes down to timing. Here’s the bridal timeline we use at our Scottsdale studio so your color is perfectly dialed in for the big day.

4–6 weeks before: book your trial tan

A trial tan is non-negotiable for brides. It lets us test your custom shade against your skin tone and your dress color, and it shows you exactly how your skin develops the solution. Schedule it around the same time as a dress fitting or another beauty trial so you can see everything together.

1 week before: prep your skin

Hydrated, well-prepped skin holds color the most evenly. Keep moisturizing daily, and plan to shave and exfoliate the night before your final appointment — not the morning of. Our full prep and aftercare guide walks through it step by step.

1–2 days before the wedding: your final tan

We recommend your wedding tan one to two days before the ceremony. That gives the color time to settle into its true tone and lets any cosmetic bronzer rinse away, leaving a natural, transfer-resistant finish that won’t rub onto a white dress.

For the big day we use our Bridal Custom Tan, finished with a post-hydration gloss that locks in color and prevents transfer. Bringing your bridal party? Ask about our private salon experience for groups of five or more.

Wear loose clothing to your final fitting, avoid oil-based products, and let us handle the glow. See full options on the bridal tans page, or book your bridal consult to lock in your dates.
